What channels does Outgi support?+

Outgi supports 9 channels: Email, Contact Form, SMS, WhatsApp, Voice Call, LinkedIn, Messenger, Instagram, and Direct Mail. You can mix and match channels in a single campaign.

Do I need technical skills to set up Outgi?+

No. The AI handles campaign writing, personalization, and sending. You need to verify a sending domain (guided setup takes 5 minutes) and add your contacts.

How does the AI Employee work?+

The AI Employee autonomously discovers prospects, writes personalized outreach, classifies replies, and drafts responses. It can operate in fully autonomous mode or submit drafts for your approval.

Is there a free plan?+

Yes. The Starter plan is free and includes up to 500 contacts, email and contact form channels, 2,500 emails/month, and basic analytics. No credit card required.

Can I use my own SMTP server?+

Yes. You can connect any SMTP server or use our built-in email infrastructure. We support custom sending domains with DKIM, SPF, and DMARC setup.

What happens when a contact unsubscribes?+

They are immediately added to a suppression list and will never receive another email from you through Outgi. All outreach emails include a one-click unsubscribe link compliant with CAN-SPAM and CASL.

Is my data stored securely?+

All data is stored on encrypted servers. We use TLS for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Outgi is GDPR-compliant and provides a data erasure endpoint.

Can I invite my team?+

Yes. All paid plans support team members. You can invite colleagues via email and manage their access from the Settings page.

What is the difference between Growth and Scale plans?+

Growth ($49/month) includes 10,000 contacts, 5 sending domains, all 9 outreach channels, AI Employee, full CRM, A/B testing, and priority support. Scale ($149/month) adds 100,000 contacts, unlimited sending domains and emails, fully autonomous AI Employee, API access (10,000 req/day), and dedicated onboarding.

Do you offer annual billing?+

Yes. Annual billing saves you 17% (equivalent to 2 months free). You can switch to annual billing from the Pricing page inside your dashboard.

Can I downgrade or cancel at any time?+

Yes. You can downgrade to the free Starter plan or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. If you cancel a paid plan mid-cycle, you keep access until the end of your billing period. No contracts, no cancellation fees.

Does Outgi integrate with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce?+

Outgi connects to HubSpot, Salesforce, and thousands of other tools via webhooks and its public REST API. Native two-way sync is on the roadmap. API access is available on Growth+ plans, letting you push contacts and retrieve reply data programmatically.

What makes Outgi different from tools like Lemlist or Instantly?+

Outgi is the only platform with a true AI Employee — an autonomous agent that discovers prospects, writes personalised outreach across 9 channels, and replies to inbound messages without you touching it. Competitors offer email sequences; Outgi offers an always-on outreach intelligence system.

Is Outgi GDPR-compliant?+

Yes. Outgi is fully GDPR-compliant. Every outreach email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We honour data erasure requests via our API. Data is stored in encrypted form and we never sell or share your prospect data.

How does email warm-up work?+

Outgi automatically exchanges warm-up emails between verified domains in our warm-up pool. This gradually builds your domain reputation so your cold emails land in the inbox rather than spam — typically achieving full warm-up in 21 days.

What is A2P 10DLC and do I need it for SMS?+

A2P 10DLC is the US carrier registration required for all business SMS sent via 10-digit long codes. If you plan to use the SMS channel for US numbers, Outgi will prompt you to complete A2P registration through our reseller portal. Non-US numbers follow their local carrier requirements.

What are the API rate limits?+

Scale plan API keys allow 60 requests/minute. Scale and Agency keys allow 300 requests/minute. All API endpoints return X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Reset headers. Contact support for custom limits.

How do I request deletion of my data (GDPR)?+

You can erase individual contact records via Settings → Contacts → GDPR Erase, or submit a full account deletion request to privacy@outgi.com. We will process account deletion within 30 days, permanently removing all campaign data, contact records, and personal information from our systems.

How does Outgi compare to Apollo or Instantly?+

Apollo is primarily a data/prospecting tool — you still need a separate outreach sender, warmup tool, and CRM on top, which adds up to $200-300 per user per month in total stack cost. Instantly focuses on cold email only with no LinkedIn, SMS, voice AI, or contact form channels. Outgi replaces all of these with one platform: 9 outreach channels, built-in CRM, email warm-up, and an AI Employee — at one flat monthly price.

Where is my data stored?+

All data is stored on servers located in Canada — this means your prospect and campaign data never leaves Canadian jurisdiction (PIPEDA-compliant by default). We use PostgreSQL with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Backups are retained for 30 days. Canadian data residency also makes Outgi the preferred choice for regulated industries such as legal, financial services, and healthcare.

What is CASL and how does Outgi help me comply?+

CASL (Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation) is Canada's primary law governing commercial electronic messages. It requires that you have explicit or implied consent before sending commercial emails to Canadians, and that every message includes a clear unsubscribe mechanism. Outgi is built CASL-compliant from the ground up: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, unsubscribes are honoured immediately, consent widgets are available for B2C opt-in collection, and a full audit trail is maintained for every send. As a Canadian company, CASL compliance is not optional for us — it's foundational.

Is Outgi compliant with PIPEDA (Canada's privacy law)?+

Yes. PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) is Canada's federal privacy law for private-sector organizations. Because all Outgi data is stored on servers in Canada — and never transits through US data centres — your prospect and customer data stays within Canadian jurisdiction, making PIPEDA compliance straightforward. We do not sell personal data, we provide data erasure on request within 30 days, and we can provide a Data Processing Agreement on request (support@outgi.com).

Can Outgi be used by agencies managing multiple clients?+

Yes. The Agency plan ($399/mo) is purpose-built for agencies: multi-client workspaces so each client's data, domains, campaigns, and CRM are completely isolated; per-client AI Employee instances; white-label reports you can send to clients under your brand; priority SLA; and a dedicated account manager. You can also onboard clients onto their own Outgi subscriptions if you prefer — our affiliate program gives you a revenue share.

What's the difference between Outgi's hosted email server and using my own SMTP?+

Outgi hosts a full email server (Nodemailer + Postfix/relay stack) on its own infrastructure. When you add and verify your sending domain, Outgi automatically provisions reply-catching mailboxes, configures SPF, DKIM, and DMARC DNS records, and handles bounce processing — all without you touching a server config. Alternatively, you can connect your own SMTP credentials (Gmail, AWS SES, Mailgun, any provider) in Settings → SMTP. The hosted option is recommended because it keeps your sending reputation isolated and lets Outgi manage warm-up and deliverability automatically.

How quickly do cold emails warm up on a new domain?+

Outgi's automated warm-up typically achieves full sender reputation in 21 days for new domains. During the ramp, Outgi gradually increases daily send volume (starting at ~10/day, reaching your plan's limit by day 21) while exchanging warm-up emails with other Outgi domains to build positive engagement signals. Domains in our warm-up pool consistently achieve 94%+ inbox placement rates once fully warmed. We recommend not sending cold campaigns until day 14 and reaching full volume at day 21.

What happens if a prospect's email bounces?+

Outgi automatically processes hard bounces (invalid address) and soft bounces (temporary failure) from every campaign. Hard-bounced addresses are immediately added to your suppression list and removed from future sends. Soft bounces are retried up to 3 times before being flagged. Domains with a bounce rate exceeding 5% are automatically paused with an alert so you can clean your list before your sender reputation is damaged.
